Wings bomb Cove in UFO

A three-pointer from Junar Guiab and series of layups from Robert Guiang was all the Wings Travels needed to keep their lead against the Kids Coves.

Falling behind the Wings Travels by 16 points, the Kids Coves pushed in the final quarter with an excellent offensive from Alex Ocampo and Jun Abedes. In addition to popping a few two-pointers near the end of the game, Ocampo used his free throws as leverage to catch up to the Wings Travels.

On the other side of the court, the Wings Travels focused their shots on Junar Guiab and Robert Guiang. After a quick three-pointer from Guiab, Guiang finished the game with several jumpers.

Leaving the Kids Coves in the dust with 26-19 in the first quarter, the Wings Travels had no need to rush with their baskets.

With Jun Alipio hammering eight points in the second quarter, the Kids Coves nearly tied the game with 46-44.

Guiang and Tony Diaz were the lead scorers of the night with a combined total of 45 points.
