Roque S. Norita and Julita Aldan Sablan, who were arrested last month, were charged with conspiracy to distribute controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute while on premises where minor children were present or resided, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
According to the indictment, from Aug. 2008 to July 2009, Sablan and Norita conspired to possess with intent to distribute “ice,” and were engaged in a transaction with cooperating sources working with the Drug Enforcement Administration within 1,000 feet of Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School in San Roque.
DEA Special Agent Daniel G. Holcomb earlier told the court that Sablan and Norita have prior records in drug-related activities.
