Woman’s purse snatched near hotel

The 57-year-old victim said her purse contained $300 cash.

Officer Jonathan Decena responded to snatching incident at about 12:03 noon and met witnesses who chased the suspect, who was seen entering a residence in Sadog Tasi.

After a perimeter was set up, police was granted by the owner to search the residence, but failed to locate the suspect.

Prior to the incident, investigation showed that the suspect was seen by the victim and other witnesses loitering around Prince Hotel.

The suspect was told many times to leave the area, police said.

The suspect was described as local male, in his late 30’s,  about 5’4” tall, 140-150 pounds, wearing a gray sleeveless shirt, dark shorts, and short dark hair, covered with tattoos.
