With Seas Sablan connecting a lay up through the left side of the court, Taguchi and the Celtics established the lead in the first half.
Ezra Caro was heating up from the outside as Hi-Five defenders managed to clamp the Celtics offense.
Passing errors however, helped the Celtics widen the gap again with Taguchi completing consecutive running jump shots and a couple of follow up shots from Sablan’s misses halfway to the second half.
Taguchi blasted with three-pointers and seven more points to finish the first half with 11-point disadvantage.
Jeremiah Reyes and Jimmy Tudela worked together to keep pace in the beginning of the second half but Taguchi was already unstoppable in this canto firing 11 more markers to keep the upper ground.
Taguchi basketed three more penalty shots to secure the win, as Cameron Nicolas who grabbed most defensive rebounds added four points
Caro led Hi-Five’s scoring hands by firing 16 points.
