KOROR (Palau Horizon) – Emmaus High School – Knights lived up to everybody’s expectations when they crushed Mindszenty High School – Cardinals at the championship match of the Inter – Scholastic Basketball Boys Division that was held at the National Gymnasium.
Wade scored a total of 21 points for the strong Knights, as they never trailed showing off their offensive and defensive attack to the whole parts of the game leaving the Cardinals no room to get back to game.
After leading with a score of 46 – 33 entering the fourth canto, EHS – Knights never looked back as they continued with the onslaught when they stopped series of plays by their opponent turning to many unanswered points that extended their lead to as mush as 20. From there, they then took control of the game and finally shut the lights out of the Cardinals with a final tally of 68 – 49 and named as this year’s Champions.
