John hits early birdie, shoots 61 in SGA November Ace

John’s 28 handicaps reduced his gross of 89 to 61 net. He went over par in the front nine finishing 49 but improved a lot in the back nine firing 4-over par 40 in the back nine.

Joe Deleon Guerrero pared in four holes in each half of the course to earn a gross of 90 and had 64 net to secure the second slot.

Dash Krishnan settled for the third place. He birdied in three-par Hole 6  for a 4-over par 40 in the front nine but struggled a bit in back nine with 7- over par 43 to gross 83 and finished 65 net

Also making it to the top five were Ray Dela Cruz who hit 5-over par 41 both in the front and back nines for a net of 67 and Larry Deleon Guerrero who fired 7-over par 43 in the front and 4-over par 40 in the back nine for a tying net of 67.

Dela Cruz however, beat Deleon Guerrero in a score card playoff.

Dela Cruz also hit the longest drive on Hole No. 7, like how Vince Rosario did in Hole 11.

Joe Demapan finished in the 10th place but like John, he fired two birdies. He did consecutively in Holes 12 and 13.

The other participants who had birdies were Steve Balakrishna on Hole 6; Jess Castro on Hole 13; Dela Cruz on Hole 9; Ed Manibusan on Hole 14; Ed Sablan on Hole 4; Martin Sablan on Hole 9; Norbert Sablan on Hole 14; and Ray San Nicolas on Hole 11.

Those who got greenies were John Takai on Hole 6; San Nicolas on Hole 8; Manibusan on Hole 12 and Rosario on Hole 15.
