The Basketball Association of Northern Mariana Islands is holding a meeting with all teams at 4:30 p.m., at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym conference to discuss the nominations for regular season MVP and scoring champions, according to league coordinator, Ponce Rasa Jr.
The selection for regular season MVP will be based on impact plays, complete schedule played, defense activeness and other attributes besides scoring like rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and overall defense.
This season’s statistics were taken from scores alone based on the table officials’ score book.
It will be an open floor discussion among coaches and managers in the nomination of MVP. They will select a minimum of one and maximum of three per team for the nomination.
