Universal Peace Federation from Japan visit Ngaremlengui school

The visitors headed by Kiyoko Yamazaki arrived on October 30 and left Palau on November 3.

The group while in Palau, visited Ngaremlengui Elementary School on November 2 and did art project with the students particularly with the 5th, 6th and 7th graders.

The purpose of the good will visit is to promote character building among Palauan students and to exchange cultures.

Geoffrey Fyers, a member of the Universal Peace Federation said that the group enjoyed working with the students.

He said it’s the group’s first time to Palau and they all love the country despite the hot weather.

Fyers said the mission of the Universal Peace Federation is to encourage friendly relationships between people of all cultures, faiths, and nations.

He said as of today, there are over 100 people associated with this organization.
