THE CNMI Division of Energy announces the official closure of the cool roof rebate program and the electric bicycles (e-bikes) rebate program, effective immediately.
These programs, launched on June 11, 2025, were made possible through limited funding and were designed to support energy-efficient roofing and clean transportation across the CNMI. Due to overwhelming participation and the conclusion of the funding cycle, no new applications will be accepted at this time.
“We sincerely apologize to members of the community who may have been planning to apply. We recognize the interest and need for these energy-saving programs, and we are grateful for the community’s strong engagement and support.
“The Division of Energy is actively pursuing additional funding for the upcoming fiscal year. Should new funds become available, a public announcement will be issued to inform the community about the reopening of these programs.
“For those who have already submitted applications, please be assured that our team will continue to process those on file.”
