6-Pack sends G-Ballers to 4-game skid; Hitz rout Ramblers

The game could have been a home run show down as the G-Ballers matched 6-Pack’s feat with their own three run-scoring HRs.

However, 6-Pack’s defense in the field plus Blas Mangofna’s two strike outs limited the G-Ballers’ score to seven runs to complete the rout.

Already enjoying a strong lead in the top of the third inning, Dan Repeki launched a three-run homer and Dalwin Kadiasang drove-in two runs with his homer and 6-Pack pulled away.

The G-Ballers suffered their second scoreless inning before 6-Pack lambasted them again with four base hits three of which sent base runners to the home plate.

The G-Ballers tried to bounce back with Jude Dickinson firing a two-run home run and Paul Salalila hitting an RBI triple in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Lucian George had a solo homerun and the 6-Pack raged on. Mike Pangelinan, Repeki, Mel Aldan and John Mangofna knocked-in run-scoring singles apiece for a seven-run fifth inning.

Ray Blas had a solo home run for the G- Ballers and the game ended when second basemen Mel Aldan and first baseman Lucian George trapped Vincent Villanueva.

Hitz 15, Ramblers 1

Jun Kaipat and Fonzie Tarope connected a three-run homer in the first and third inning respectively and the Hitz routed the Ramblers, 15-1.

Ruben Olkeriil gave up only one run out of four hits and struck out three.

Tarope’s homer in the first set the lead and Kyle went 4-for-4, his triple in the second inning drove-in two runs to finish with five RBIs.

Jun’s three-run HR in the third and Kyle’s solo home run ended the Ramblers hope.

Ruben Olkeriil added one run-scoring single also in the third for their 10-run mercy rule victory.

Island Rebels 15, Lancheros 12

Byron Kaipat caught Dimas Omar Sr.’s fly ball in the top of the seventh and the Lancheros fell short of tying the game.

The Island Rebels ensured their fifth win as Byron fired a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning.

After Vince Duenas’ run-scoring double, Toi Celis added three more RBIs in his season’s eight.

AZ Palacios hit a solo home run in the third.

Duenas had two RBI triple before Byron’s run-scoring double in the sixth inning.

Marvin Palacios drove-in run with a double to help the Island Rebels finish off the Lancheros with 15-12 win.

Marvin Palacios added three to his six to top the strike-out record of the season.
