The Crank brings home gold

Camacho who bested 62 Jiu Jitsu fighters in the advanced blue belt division of absolute class is set to arrive home on Thursday and will stay on Saipan for the holidays until February next year.

He won second place during the preliminary fights in the 193 lbs division on Saturday before he made to the finals the next day.

Trench Tech’s Cuki Alvarez said the CNMI’s top MMA fighter defeated eight of the best Asian Jiu Jitsu fighters, as he oozed with confidence after a hard training at Master Lloyd Irvin Jiu Jitsu Academy in Maryland and CNMI’s Trench Tech Gym.

The CNMI’s pride did not even remember the name of the fighter he defeated in the gold medal fight.

Camacho weighs 190 lbs but the absolute class where he fought in is of an open weight classes.

Alvarez assured that The Crank will be the special guest referee for Trench Warz 11- Redemption scheduled for Dec. 18 at the Saipan World Resort.

To be featured in this event are the fights between Underworld Extreme Guam’s Alex “Most Hated” Castro and Trench Tech’s stand out and undefeated fighter, Fasi “Quick Draw” Jesse in the light weight super fight, and Gil “The Guamaniac” Meno versus Saipan’s top Gun- Jason “Rush” Tarkong.
