THE Superior Court imposed a $1,500 bail on Kehdes Esteban Paulino, 31, who was arrested for assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, and criminal mischief.
Associate Judge Perry Inos also directed Paulino to post a $13,500 unsecured bond and to observe a curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Paulino’s arrest in Kagman 3 on Thursday night stemmed from an incident on the early morning of Oct. 30, 2009 that involved him and several individuals.
Paulino, who appeared to be drunk, asked Minghu Quan and He Tong Bo for a ride home outside the MCM2 Poker
game room in San Jose.
A scuffle later ensued between Paulino and Quan and Bo.
Police said Paulino threw the first punch at Bo but missed.
Paulino then threw a rock and hit Bo at the back of his head and right forearm.
As Paulino was gathering more stones, Bo ran toward his girlfriend’s
car and took a knife, but tripped and fell on the pavement.
Paulino then jumped onto Bo who stabbed Paulino in the abdomen,
police said.
While the victims drove away, Paulino still threw rocks at them, smashing the car’s rear window, and denting its left door, police said.
Paulino was later treated at the Commonwealth Health Center.
