RGA President Jordon Kosam said the board of directors has invited Fitial and all other past RGA presidents Thomas Saures, Ben Taitano, Tony Satur, Tony Rogolofoi, Jess Wabol, and Adam Hardwicke.
Also invited are former vice presidents, JesusTaitano and Joe Limes; former secretaries, Rose Igitol, Sid Taisacan and Carlos Salas; former handicap directors Joe “Kamikaze” Camacho, Sid Seman, Alex Aquiningoc and former treasurer Sonny Flores to join the 2009 officials and members in the awards ceremony.
The 2009 club championship, Kosam said will be at the east course of Laolao Bay Golf Resort.
The 12 monthly aces, are Joe Wabol who won the December ace title last weekend; January ace, Ciu Xian Lai; February ace, Tars Olopai; March ace, Asterio Tawanpiy; April ace Ray Tigilau; May ace, Nick Sablan; June ace, Sonny Flores; July ace, Jay Choi; August ace, Jess Seman; September ace, Joe Saures; October ace, Ben Duenas and November ace Tom Tebuteb.
They will be vying for the number post of the year.
Kosam wants to remind the participants that the check in time is set at 10:30 a.m. and tee time will an hour later.
Tournament fee is $30 and green fee is $35. The tournament will also feature Top 3 low net awards amounting to $250, $200 and $150.
Up for grabs are Plasido Tagabuel award for club champion, Sid K. Peter award for most rounds and 2009 Tony Taitano for the low net champion.
There will also be award to those who will hit closest to the pins and the most and least putting; medal play score low and high, and consolations prizes for most birdies, pars, bogeys, double bogey and beyond.
The banquet will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Carolinian Utt in Garapan.
