Cadagat led IT&E set the lead in the first half with 17 points including his first three-pointer.
Mendiola picked up where Cadagat left off, sizzling with eight of his 29 points helping IT&E keep the gap wide open in the third quarter.
Mendiola kept pouring-in with two-pointers in the final quarter to secure their 90-60 victory.
Alex Lauron chipped in 10 points while Errol Peredo and Ernie Moises added nine points each.
Darwin Barbo scored 11 points for the Diamonds.
Cool Water 106, Wushin 97
Dindo Pablo and Martin Moreno led the shooting spree in the beginning of the second quarter to help Cool Water recover from an eight-point deficit.
Then, the game remained neck-to-neck as Wushin’s Sonny Ebuen and Ferdie Tobias blasting from outside the rainbow line in the third quarter.
Ebuen also basketed three of his four penalty shots, while Tobias went 2-for-2 in this period.
However, Joseph Galulu and Bernard Mondano heated up and fired nine points each. Galulu bludgeoned Wushin defenders with inside plays while Mondano went ballistic from outside with one three-pointer.
Martin Moreno kept his adrenaline surge as he backed Dino Pablo up in the fourth quarter to help Cool Water hang on to their lead until their 106-97 victory.
Gilbert Espinosa added 17 points.
