Roy Celis, Toi Celis and Byron Kaipat drove-in two runs with their home runs and the Island Rebels had a stunning come back after hibernating for a week.
Although they remain undefeated, the Island Rebels missed the actions that brought Natibu and Man Amigos past them in the standings.
Toi Celis who maintained his 12 hits in 17 at-bats record with 16 RBIs established the lead with his homerun in the first inning, before Jeff Isaac and Oscar Sablan who holds the fourth place in the batting record hit one RBI single apiece.
Emoa Funar and Vicente Cabrera led the rally with two-run singles and the Calikano Falcons turned the game around in the second inning.
Roy Celis and Byron Kaipat duplicated Toi’s first inning performance to cut Calikano Falcon’s lead down to three.
The Island Rebels rallied in the third with four base hits to gain the lead back as Wally Chong and BJ Babauta had an RBI single apiece.
Kaipat’s run-scoring triple and Mitch Aaron’s RBI single stretched the lead in the fourth inning.
Aaron added an RBI double and Isaac had an RBI single to deny the Falcons the chance to bounce back.
Red Eye 10, Ramblers 7
Jack Sablan and Swain Cangco had an RBI single and RBI double respectively in the first inning, James Ulloa drove-in three runs with a triple in the fourth and Red Eye went all the way to beat the Ramblers, 10-7.
With Giovanni Sablan adding a run-scoring single in the fifth, Red Eye stayed in the upper ground leading to their victory.
Freedom Air 28, Saipal 20
Dennis Cruz led off a double and the Freedom Air Flyers rallied in the bottom of the first inning to beat Saipal, 28-20.
The Flyers lambasted Saipal with eight base hits that came up with nine runs.
Shane Yamada and Reno Celis both hit a run-scoring double while Mel Manahane, Ray Kaipat, Cris Castro, Alvin and Tony Aguon had run-scoring single apiece.
Manahane drove-in three runs with his home run to stay afloat in the fifth inning.
Luis Ngiraikelau homered as Saipal rallied to cut Freedom Air Flyers’ lead down to two runs in the bottom of the fifth.
But with Dennis Cruz firing his third base hit and Reno Celis hitting a two-run double, the Flyers clobbered Saipal again in the seventh inning.
