So far, 19 teams have confirmed participation in the said league.
League coordinator Dante Olivos explained that the Navy Hill League is for basketball enthusiasts that are categorized as Class B players.
Fans, he said, may not see in here the familiar top hoopsters they watch in the previous leagues but this one has always been the producers of promising players.
The village league, Olivos added also serves as training ground of aspiring players who wish to play in the leagues organized by bigger sports associations on the island.
The teams confirmed to see actions next month are Viels, NVM, Trinity, Olivos, Club Wonderful, Ebisuya, Star Water, Managaha, GEC, INC, Tropical Laundry, Advance, Wushin, CS Boys, Armatech, Cris Camacho Team, Winchels, Torch Bearers and San Roque.
The opening ceremony will start at 4:30 p.m., at the Garapan Basketball Court.
