Last Thursday, eve of the New Year’s Day, the hospital received blankets, pillows, pillow cases and one wheel chair from Bilung Gloria Salii.
Salii handed 30 pieces of blankets, 30 pieces of pillows and pillow cases and one wheel chair to Minister of Health Stevenson Kuartei.
The items will go to the ward sections of the hospital for the benefits of the patients.
Salii just came from the ground breaking of the soon to rise Palau Tourism & Hospitality School of Excellence when she proceeded to the hospital to donate the items.
Salii said it’s her own way of giving back to the community.
Minister Kuartei thanked the donor and said that the entire staff of the hospital was very appreciative of the generosity of the people including Bilung Salii especially it was given during the holiday season adding it was a good Christmas presents to the hospital.
