Ngerbeched relied on their hitting and great pitching as went on the finish team Airai with a score of 15 – 3, while team Koror was nearly flawless out on the outfield minimizing their errors to crush their opponent from Kayangel with a score of 13 –2.
On the evening of Monday, January 18 2010, the Palau Major League opened its 2010 baseball season. Six teams, Airai sponsored by Airai State Government, Angaur, Kayangel sponsored by Palau Pacific Energy Inc., Koror sponsored by Ngara Metal, Ngerbeches financed by Koror State Government and Senator Adalbert Eledui, and Peched who are also helped by the Koror State Government together with Belau Petroleum, are vying to get the opportunity to become this year’s champions of baseball.
Next Scheduled games will be between Ngerbeches and Airai, Thursday 21st of January, then Koror versus Ngerbeched on the 22nd of January, while Airai and Kayangel clashes on the 23rd of the same month.
