Department of Public Safety spokesman PO2 Eric David said there are no results indicating that the samples, which were sent to Hawaii last year, came from someone else.
David said the case is still under investigation and detectives are continuously doing a follow up.
He is requesting members of the public who has any information about the case to call 911 or DPS at 664-9000.
The victim’s father has called on the community to report to the Federal Bureau of Investigation any information relating to the case.
The victim’s family has already left the CNMI.
