Hard Rock Café Saipan operations manager Rey Perez said everybody still had a grand time.
“I appreciate the locals and tourists who spent the New Year’s countdown party with us,” he added.
He said the economic crisis was probably the main reason why many residents decided to stay home and celebrate with their families.
Beginning at 8 p.m. and at the top of each hour afterward, Hard Rock Café held raffle drawings, giving prizes to ticket holders who made a minimum purchase of $10.
Among the prizes was a round trip ticket to Japan with an accompanying dinner certificate for the Hard Rock Café Japan.
Just before the clock struck midnight, Hard Rock Café staff distributed glasses of red wine to the guests to offer a toast to 2010.
