Up in the early morning of that day at exactly 6:00 a.m. will be the walkathon where pre –registrations begins at 5:00 – 5:45 a.m. the briefing at 5:50 a.m. The route will take place from the Aimeliik Compact Road entrance and finishing at the Aimeliik Center.
In addition to the walkathon, there will also be Tri – Kids Biathlon sponsored by the Belau Triathlon Federation, where kids will have to run for 2.5 kilometer then ride the bike for another 2.5 kilometer. There will also be an introduction to Archery Activity following the other events mentioned.
The event is free for everyone in which, refreshments are provided and the first 50 participants for the walkathon will be awarded with t’shirts while the rest will be given towels. Special certificates award will be presented to a person or entity from Aimeliik State to recognize outstanding achievement made to develop, strengthen the participation of women and girls at all levels in the sporting world.
The day of sports activities is sponsored by the PWaSC in partnership with Aimeliik State and other entities such as the PNOC, Belau Triathlon Federation, Archery Federation, and the Medical Commission.
