Court sets trial date for Ladera school lawsuit

Chief Judge Alex Munson yesterday granted the stipulation of both parties.

Former principal Richard Louis Nigh sued his former employer Yong Nam Park, Ladera school owner, for causing him “extreme emotional stress.”

Nigh, who worked as principal starting in Aug. 2007 and resigned in Dec. 2007, is  represented by attorney Loren Sutton while Stephen Nutting is Ladera school’s counsel.

In his complaint, Nigh said Park’s conduct was “extreme and outrageous, beyond all possible bounds of decency and utterly intolerable in a civilized community.”

Park denied he is the principal owner of Ladera School, saying it is owned and operated by ILC Corp.
