Yesterday, Mark Thorne of University of Hawaii made a presentation about forage production.
The free three-day workshop, which involves classroom instruction and field experience, ends on Friday.
The workshop is designed to help livestock producers and land managers of all levels of experience become better equipped to manage their animals and resources, NMC said.
NMC is encouraging more interested individuals to attend the workshop.
The other topics that will be discussed include grazing systems and strategies, weed control techniques, basic animal health and factors that affect beef quality.
