Navy Hill League organizer, Dante Olivos said they will have the same table officials to run the league, so the decided to wait until the ongoing league is over before they can move ahead.
He added that they are still in the process of securing permit from the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs to use the outdoor basketball court in Garapan.
The Navy Hill league had its opening games last Sunday but due to lack of manpower man the table, the organizers had to push it back for another week.
Due to the requests of many other recreational basketball players who rarely make it in the annual events, they formed their own group last year to hold the Navy Hill Basketball League.
Like last year, most players still did not make it in the previous basketball league, the Navy Hill league which will mark its second year, is another option to keep their passion for basketball, continue to stay fit and have fun.
Olivos said 20 teams have signed up for the league.
The teams who confirmed to see actions starting next week are Viels, NVM, Trinity, Olivos, Club Wonderful, Ebisuya, Star Water, Managaha, GEC, INC, Tropical Laundry, Advance, Wushin, CS Boys, Armatech, Cris Camacho Team, Winchels, Torch Bearers and San Roque.
The Navy Hill league games that are expected to continue until April will be on Tuesdays, Thursday and Sunday.
