Masters Basketball mandatory meeting
The Masters Basketball Federation of the NMI is gearing up for the 35 and Above Masters Basketball League, and would like to inform all interested Coaches, and Team Managers that there will a mandatory meeting this Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym conference room at 5:30 p.m.
The MBFNMI will discuss important topics; ground rules, team format, league format, entrances fee, uniforms, and other matters. Women’s basketball
THE Basketball Association of the Northern Mariana Islands is now inviting female basketball players for the 2010 Women’s Basketball League.
BANMI is now calling on all interested cagebelles age 15 and above to show up at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym and sign up for the league.
The registration will be held on the following dates and times:
Thursday, February 25 at 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 6 at 9 a.m.; Sunday, March 7 at 1 p.m.
These days will also include basketball sessions for interested participants who want to practice their skills and get to know one another.
On the last day of registration, captains will be selected and participants will be drafted into teams consisting of ten (10) players.
