Over 30 defendants to be arraigned today

Shane Jonathan Hocog, who is being held for the death of Larry Gonzales, will return to court for the continuance of his arraignment after it was rescheduled from last week.

Associate Judge David Wiseman earlier reconsidered the earlier ruling of probable cause, and dismissed one count of murder in the second degree against Hocog who is incarcerated at the Department of Corrections facility. The court set $100,000 cash bail for his temporary liberty.

He is still facing charges of one count of voluntary manslaughter, one count of aggravated assault and battery, and one count of assault and battery.

Another defendant,  Steven A. Hocog, is charged with kidnapping a five-year-old girl.

The Attorney General’s Office earlier  opposed the bail modification for Steven Hocog from $100,000 cash bail to a property bond.

Sexual abuse defendants Mark Thomas Doyle and Steven R. Aguon are also expected to attend their arraignment today.

Mixed martial arts fighters Kelvin David Fitial and Maitai K. Charley will be in court to answer the criminal charges against them.

Fitial is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace of a customer of The Flair Bar.

Charley is charged with assault and battery, criminal mischief, and disturbing the peace at Winchell’s in Garapan.

Four other defendants — Lamberto Flores, Dante Parinas, Roberto Lozano a.k.a. Bobby, and Numido Florendo — will answer the charges of disturbing the peace, assault and battery, and riot.

Former Rep. Pedro Pangelinan Castro will be in court to answer drug charges.

Duenas, Joseph Jones Villagomez, Ignacio Deleon Guerrero, Meilin Xiao, Zhongping Yu, Joseph Shane Aldan, Juan Babauta Castro and Vincent Cabrera Castro, and Xia Tang.
