The CNMI Division of Fish and Wildlife is inviting interested community members to register and participate in the workshop.
Wildlife biologist Laurie L. Williams, in an e-mail, said there will be discussions on “the resources at risk which may include sensitive and unique areas from a structural, biological, economic, historical and/or safety perspective.”
Oil spill plans will also be discussed.
The first day of the workshop will be held in the Division of Environmental Quality conference room at 8 a.m. while the location for the second day of the venue is yet to be announced.
The workshop will be conducted by U.S. Fish and Wildlife biologist Charlie Hebert and Linda Elliot of the Wildlife Center.
Those who have not signed up to attend the workshop should e-mail Williams at [email protected].
Participants are also asked to bring writing materials for taking down notes.
At least 30 people are expected to attend the first day of the workshop and only 24 can be accommodated on day 2.
