According to the report, at around 3:35 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, Kume Nokuyuki called the police and reported that the Sara Guide Service shop located at Malakal was burglarized.
Police investigation showed, the suspects entered the shop by breaking- in and destroying the two door locks.
The burglars, according to the report, took the laptop worth $700.
Police said the case is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, another incident of burglary was reported to the police, occurring in Idid hamlet, Koror.
Initial investigation reportedly showed that the unknown suspect entered the Barracks room of Mariur Store building and stole a cellular phone worth $30, wrist watch worth $110 and a pair of slippers amounting to $15 owned by Abu Bakar Siddique.
The incident happened between 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
No suspect has been identified. Police is conducting investigation on the matter.
In another news, a minor suspect was arrested for stealing goods worth $500.
Based on the investigation, the suspect entered the house owned by Yuri Kishikawa and stole assorted goods.
The stolen goods were then sold by the suspect.
A case of burglary and grand larceny were charged against the suspect.
