Rota holds Agriculture Fair

Hundreds of people from the community as well as Sinapalo Elementary and Rota Junior High School students with their chaperones came to see this year’s produce from the different competitors who included grazers and planters.

There were visitor from Saipan, Guam, and Tinian who also were present to witness this special event which was last held here almost three years ago.

“This is one of my main goals — to re-establish the Agriculture Fair and it turned out to be successful,” said Joey Quitugua, the resident director of the Department of Land and Natural Resources.

“At the same time, I would like to acknowledge the hard-working staff of the DLNR, the staff from the municipal council, from the office of the mayor, NMC-CREES, 4-H Club, and all who participated during this special event.”
