“We thank our M.E. community for working hard to bring in these recruits,” Marriage Encounter coordinators Tom and Erica Thronburgh said in a statement. “Please continue your quest in trying to confirm more couples as we are all aware that not all of them make it to the weekend.”
As of last week, 19 couples had confirmed their participation.
The target is 25 couples, the Thornburghs said.
The Marriage Encounter weekend experience is designed to give married couples the opportunity to learn techniques of loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives.
Marriage Encounter is an organization that helps couples maintain and improve their relationship.
