Social Security representative to visit Rota, Tinian

The representative will be on Tinian on Thursday, March 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community and Cultural Affairs Office located at the Tinian gymnasium, and on Rota on Friday, March 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Office on Aging in Sinapalo village.

Applicants for Social Security numbers must present original or certified copies of documents. First time U.S. citizen applicants must present their birth certificate, valid proof of identity and must apply in person if age 12 or above.

For replacement card, a U.S. citizen must present valid proof of their identity. A parent applying on behalf of a child must present valid proof of identity. Non-U.S citizen applicants must present an original and valid passport and proof of their immigration status and work authorization in the CNMI (entry permit, umbrella permit, U.S. permanent residency card, I94).

The Social Security Administration makes quarterly visits to Tinian and Rota. Residents of these islands are urged to visit the representative during their scheduled visit.
