The chief of media and his staff explained in detail the situation as to what has been done with the AM station since its transmitter stopped functioning on Jan. 20, 2009.
The Division of Media said it was advised to purchase a new AM transmitter because the existing one has been in service for over 30 years now and is no longer on the market.
