The invitational event will feature four teams of girls fifteen years old and under, and four teams of boys seventeen and seventeen years old under.
The Settsu Red Impulse Basketball Club from Osaka, Japan is returning Saipan to see basketball action once again with the islands’ own young cagers.

BOYS 17 & Under
• Saipan Southern High School Manta Rays (Defending SSFBT Champions)

• COPSSA All-Stars
The tournament is being hosted in their honor as visiting guests to Saipan in the name of basketball goodwill and BANMI’s continued development efforts. This year the Settsu Red Impulse teams will come in full-force with both girls and boys squads entered in this cultural-sports exchange event.
The SRI Girls are defending their title against new invitees Kagman High School Lady Ayuyus, the 2009-2010 MISO Girls Basketball Champions, and the Coalition of Private Schools Sports Association All-Star Select team.
Last year, the Settsu Red Impulse Boys Team suited only 6 players and lost a thrilling heartbreaker to the MHS Dolphins to reach the finals against the Saipan Southern High School Manta Rays. This year, the SRI Coaches have vowed to uphold the Japanese “yamato daimashi” and give last year’s Champion, the SSHS Manata Rays, a battle to the end for the perpetual Champions Cup. In addition, new invitees include the Marianas Interscholastic Sports Organization and COPSSA All-Star Select Teams.
