Investigation showed, around 11:56 p.m. the suspect was reportedly intoxicated and assaulted the victim several times.
The suspect identified as Johnson Ngiraklesau, 30 was arrested by the police.
Meanwhile, a man brought to the hospital after he was struck with the piece of wood by unidentified suspects in Ngarkesoaol on Sunday afternoon.
According to the victim, at about 1:56 p.m. suspects assaulted him and hit him several times using a piece of wood.
Victim sustained bruises on his back and other parts of his body. He was brought to the hospital for treatment.
While the suspects fled the area when the police responded.
In another news, a man was also arrested for creating trouble at the Ngarkesoaol basketball court.
The suspect was identified as George Delong 38 years old.
Police said, the suspect was angry and was provoking a fight at the said place.
The suspect was brought to the police and charged with drunken and disorderly conduct.
