Orientation for international and evening NMC students

The orientation aims to teach incoming students about the various programs, services and resources available at the college. It will feature representatives from the different programs and offices of the student services division, such counseling and disability support, career services and financial aid.

The orientation will also feature presentations by the Associated Students of NMC on “How to Get Involved” in student activities and organizations, Dean of Student Services Leo Pangelinan on “Choosing a Major and Career,” and Business Instructor Rik Villegas on “Having a Successful College Experience.”

Ice breaker activities will also be facilitated by student ambassadors from the College Access Challenge Project.

SAES kindergarten orientation this Friday

(SAES) — San Antonio Elementary School’s kindergarten orientation will be held on Friday, Aug. 27, at 5 p.m. in the SAES cafeteria.

All parents of kindergarten students are urged to attend the orientation.

Orientation for 1st to 6th grade students will be held on the following days and times:

• Sept. 7 (Tuesday)

4th graders – 4-5 p.m.

5th graders – 5-6 p.m.

6th graders – 6-7 p.m.

• Sept. 8 (Wednesday)

1st graders – 4-5 p.m.

2nd graders – 5-6 p.m.

3rd graders – 6-7 p.m.
