Sparks torch Hi-5 in UBA caging

Frank Mettao fired two consecutive two-pointers and Eugene Manglona sizzled with eight points for the Sparks in the first quarter.

However, with Jonathan Gumacao and Lawrence Rollon having successful drives to score six points apiece, then, Ezra Caro hit a two-pointer before Greg Duatin made one of his free throw, Hi-5 ended the first half with a two-point lead.

Mettao sizzled with eight points while Manglona kept the surge firing six points in the second half to help the Sparks close in.

The Sparks eventually tied the game as Mettao sank three consecutive two-pointers. The Sparks continued its streak and took the lead all the way to their 46-44 victory.
