According to PPUC, the vehicle had broken the power pole and damaged primary lines as well as the distribution transformer.
It further added that the vehicle accident disrupted power in Koror and almost half of Airai.
The problem was remedied after the PPUC crew had to work from 3a.m. until 12 noon in order to restore power that day.
PPUC said the person driving the vehicle may be held responsible for the damages to the power pole and the outage to the public.
It added that PPUC thanks its customers for their patience and continued cooperation as the problem was being corrected.
