I also agree on Dr. Dombrowski of Guam’s comment that appeared in Marianas Variety: “Cannabis is a gift from God’s own green pharmacy.” In my arrogant, yet logical opinion, it is ridiculous that anyone can tell another person not to consume something that was given by God, whereas, alcohol and cigarettes that are offered by greedy companies are allowed. Overall, legalization of Cannabis will definitely save a lot of taxpayers’ money that are spent to control the usage and incarcerating crime offenders. Decriminalization will also contribute to the reduction of crimes. It only takes someone courageous as Senator Respicio and Rep. Stanley T. Torres, with the support from other long vision lawmakers and citizens, to make it happen.
Legalize it, then, see what happens. After observing the impact on various aspects for five years, well, we can repeal the legalization law if negative impacts outweigh the other. Let’s make it real!
