Players should take out their basketball shoes and prepare their uniforms for another exciting season that will blaze in soon on Saipan in the coming weeks ahead.
The MBFNMI Board of regents and committee members decided to move forward with the two divisions which are 40A and 45A Masters Basketball League.
The board has yet to decide and confirm on the actual date of the kick-off, but they urge everyone who are interested to start forming their teams, and seek sponsorship.
Unfortunately, the MBFNMI Board has made a firm decision that the league will not happen or come into session unless all of the participating teams have paid all of the fees for the league.
Mr. Yosh Gabaldon, the MBFNMI’s treasurer, is tasked to work on the different options and formats concerning the associated fees for the league. The entrance fee for each division is yet to be decided when Mr. Gabaldon submits the proposals for them.
Teams with overdue balances from the concluded 35A Masters Basketball League must clear their accounts in order for them to be able to play or start a team that will qualify for the upcoming league. All affected players are strongly urged to contact Mr. Yosh Gabaldon at 234-1234, MBFNMI Treasury.
The MBFNMI has yet to also announce the meeting for coaches, team players, representatives, and for the media to attend. So the board of regent asks the public to stay tuned for more information on the upcoming league.
