The proceeds were from the 2009 Delta Air Lines golf tournament for children’s education. All funds raised at the annual tournament are donated to various children’s educational charities or activities in the CNMI.

Delta is headquartered in Atlanta where it operates the world’s busiest airline hub.
Other hubs include New York City, Detroit, Cincinnati, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Memphis, Salt Lake City, Tokyo-Narita, Amsterdam and Paris. Western gateway cities include Honolulu, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Delta is the only carrier currently offering direct daily services between Saipan and Japan.
It operates three daily flights between Saipan and Tokyo-Narita and will resume daily services to Nagoya on June 11.
