In an interview, Adachi said under the constitution, the Public Education System is under the national supervision of national government and not the state. Nevertheless, Adachi said that there is a budget under his administration for the charitable contribution for the school.
“Not a major project like buying books is earmarked, but it can serve the needs of the school like the awareness program.” Adachi said in an interview.
For the private school, Adachi said, the catholic school requested from his office a design for the classroom that will be located within the school vicinity. Instead of hiring the service of an Engineer, Adachi said he has provided an Engineer to do the design of the classroom.
The Governor also added that his office provides, manpower, fuel and transportation based on their request if the school has a curricular activities like visiting the Rock Islands.
He said that although these are small things that his office can do for the school but it can serve their needs.
The 2010 approved budget of KSG is $6.8 million, and $500, 000 of the budget was allocated for hamlets projects and also for the improvement of the parks in Long Island and KB bridge.
