The Chow Queen’s victory was attributed to the shooting of Wowie Abuel, who scored for a total of 36 points by the end of the game.
The teamwork of Mobil’s Marlon Dedios and Jun Estolas seemed promising in the first quarter, but they were heavily outmatched by Chow Queen’s Abuel, Von Tamayo, and Ivan De Vero.
Abuel’s sharp two and three pointers in the first quarter proved very useful for the Chow Queens’ lead.
Chow Queen’s Dave Sablan offered his support in the second quarter, shooting for three two-pointers and several free throws.
Mobil’s Estolas and Pando Muleta played resilient defensives by the second half to prevent their opponents from gaining a bigger lead. Next to Abuel, Estolas ranked the highest for the Mobils with 35 points, followed by 21 points from Muleta.
The Mobils came very close to the Chow Queens during the fourth quarter, with Estolas, Marvin Rabauliman, and Muleta pushing the extra mile for a possible victory.
Kae Bernardo pushed through for the Chow Queens near the end of the game, marking an extra six points and a free throw.
