9 GED students complete Computer Training Program

The Computer Training Program is GED’s family business program intended for non-high school graduates.

GED is a test that certifies a student’s high school academic level taken by those who have not obtained a high school diploma. People take GED test to get certification equivalent to high school diploma.

“Part of GED’s program is to educate the students about basic computer,” said Siles Ngiraremiang, GED Program Coordinator. “Once the students receive their diplomas they can enroll in Computer courses at PCC.”

According to Ngiraremiang, the Computer Training Course is an optional program that GED students can take. The yearly program runs 19 days, four hours every night at Palau High School.

The dinner party which was held at Yum Yum Restaurant was sponsored by Sen. Surangel Whipps, Jr.
