Lizama, Brel hand Ol’ Aces pennant crown

Trailing by three runs, the Ol’ Aces bowed to Falcons’ starting pitcher, Logan Martin who stung them with a no-hitter top of the first inning.

Mike Muna replaced Kenji Yamagata on the mound and had 15 strike outs to nail the Falcons to three runs.

With one out and had two strikes to give, Brel sends Falcons’ short stop, AJ Evangelista to catching error and he got the first base in the top of the second inning, then an error by catcher sent him home.

Payton Lizama doubled before Muna drove him in, Brel dashed to the first base on a left fielders’ error and Secharmidal hit an RBI single to help the Ol’ Aces get even in the top of the fourth inning.

Lizama walked in the fifth and scored run on another error to put up the slim lead. Brel doubled in the sixth inning and scored run on an error at the second base to strengthen the lead.

Alex Litulumar walked then, Frankie Lizama knocked in a run-scoring single to help Ol’ Aces pull away and win the pennant.

Hustlers 9, Enforcers 4

Julius Paul and Peterson Rengiil walked before they both scored runs on the same errors at the left field, and the Hustlers beat the Junior Police Officer Enforcers.

Jason Villagomez stole the home base and Jerome Tagabuel drove in two runs with a single to help the Hustlers put up a strong lead in the bottom of the first inning.

Veronnie Babauta hit a two RBI single in the second inning and Jose Pangelinan II scored run on an error at the short to strengthen the Hustlers lead.

Pangelinan singled, and with two outs in the fourth inning, Austine Villagomez knocked-in an RBI single and the Hustlers were just needed to carry out stiff defense to assure the win.

The Enforcers however, did not just let it happen too easy for them. With Kier Agada scoring run on an error at the second base in the bottom of the second inning, which Robert Ishmael Solis and Fred Songao duplicated in the fifth inning, the Enforcers cut the lead down to five runs.

But struck out five to cut short the Enforcers attempt to catch up.

Survivors 11, A’s 0

Caleb Takao had nine strike outs and allowed one walk to help the Survivors shout out the Century A’s.

Allen Cepeda and Joseph Seo hit an RBI single apiece and the Survivors secured the lead in the bottom of the first inning.

Jerry Kintol and James Kintaro scored run on an error at the left field in the second inning.

Seo had his second base hit in the third and Takao knocked in a run-scoring single before scoring a run on an error at the center field and the Hustlers had their 10-run mercy rule victory.
