Age group records have been modified to coexist with the Micronesian Basketball Confederation (MBT) development plans for the next four (4) years. The old age group requirement was18 years and under and now will change to 19 and under with an additional age group of 15 years and under.
Entry fee is set at $100.00 per team. Requirements such as birth certificates, waivers and player registrations can be picked up at the Gilbert C. Ada gymnasium during working hours.
New coaches to the program who have not received any coaching certification will have to attend a coaching course prior to entrance into the league. The coaching clinic will be set prior to the opening of the league.
During the league, players will be evaluated for selection into the various National Team Development squads for the upcoming off island regional tournaments.
During the Micronesian Games, representatives from the various Micronesian regions: Federated States of the Micronesia, Palau, Guam, Republic of the Marshalls and the NMI met to reform the MBT and made several exciting decisions.
