China is a command economy, where the government has a stake in everything that goes on even in the private sector.
Ironically, it is these same folks who wrap themselves around the flag and always tout the military, when these very same places that they find no problems trading with and traveling to and from, such as Fiji, give short shrift to individual liberty and democratic principles that the very same military here fought and died for to preserve and protect. Reconcile that if this is possible.
I think this is the reason: When it comes to making a few bucks, who cares whom you are dealing with, right? If this is their philosophy, why be so harsh with Democrats and others who believe that the government has a role in people’s lives, preferably a small one, but a necessary evil one at that?
