The teams that made it to the play off as the Masters basketball wrapped up its regular season last weekend are the IT&E, Ebisuya, Konflikt and QQ Rent A Car in Pool A and Easy Does It, Shakir’s Realty, Brabu Bulls and Team 10.
Of the said teams, only the IT&E finished the regular season undefeated.
The road to MBL finals will start at 9 a.m., on Saturday and Sunday.
Tasi Tours 86, Shakir’s Realty 78
In the season-ender games last Sunday, Shakir’s Realty gave one game win away to Tasi Tours.
Eric Lansang scored only 13 points while Francis Rebuyon backed off far behind to finish only with four points.
Tony Diaz scattered the court with 16 of his 48 points in the first quarter to lead Tasi Tours.
Bobby Geli sizzled with 11 points in the second quarter and tallied a total of 23 points, while Michael Sablan added 10 points to help secure their victory over Shakir’s Realty.
Moonlight 96, CDG 67
Although they fell short of making it to the playoff, Moonlight ended its regular season with a win over CDG Pawnshop.
The no-bearing game went on with both teams refusing to take it lightly against each other.
George Masga dominated the court scoring 33 points while Armando Anasan reaped points from under the goal tallying 23 points.
Pasky Peleno grabbed most rebounds and sizzled with eight of his 14 points in the third quarter to help Moonlight keep the gap wide.
Nolan Cultura added 11 points.
Michael Surima and Roger Valencia scored 24 points apiece for CDG Pawnshop in a losing attempt to come back.
