FOR their standout performances during Saturday’s championship games at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium, Andrew “Uncle Drew” Ashburn and Keith Santos were named finals MVPs of their respective divisions in the 2025 IT&E-United Filipino Organization Basketball League.
All eyes were on Ashburn during the masters division title game as he led A+ Consulting to a dominant victory with 18 points against KPro, 98-57.
The rest of the masters division’s mythical 5 were Brendon Talania, Jun Estolas, Gino Libuw, Ales Robles, and Jawn Joyner.
Ales Robles was named the season MVP while Ashburn was given the Best Coach Award.
The Sportsmanship Award went to Win Win Way.
Open division
Leading the list of awards for the open division was Keith Santos as the finals MVP.
In a hard-fought finale against Priority Care, he exploded late in the second half with 28 points to secure the win for New Changming Market, 84-40.
Joining Santos in the open division’s mythical 5 were Airson Atan, Ervin Villarin, Coby Santos, JR Galang, and Marvin Rabauliman, who was also honored as the season MVP.
The Best Coach Award was given to New Changming Market’s Dennis Cortez while the Sportsmanship Award went to Best Deal.
