Short stop Peter Sablan drove-in six runs as he homered twice and scored three runs to lead the Man Amigos in beating the Calikano Falcons, 17-7.
John Terlaje and Eric Palacios walked, then, Jerry Ayuyu hit an RBI single before Sablan drove-in a run on a throwing error to cut the deficit just good enough to move ahead after one complete inning.
Center fielder Joe Torres and left fielder James Fleming caught fly balls to keep Mario Salas stranded in the third base and the Falcons, scoreless in the top of the second inning.
Terlaje and Palacios hit an RBI apiece, Ayuyu doubled before Sablan hit his three-run home run and JJ Laniyo added a solo home run to cap their six-run bottom of the second.
The Falcons scored two runs to trim down the lead in the top of the third but the Man Amigos pulled away again with Ayuyu knocking-in a two-run double and Sablan hitting his two-run home run and the Man Amigos secured a 10-run-mery rule victory.
Island Rebels 13, Red Eye 1
Oscar Sablan and Roy Celis hit a solo home run apiece and Mal Celis, a three-run home run leading the Island Rebels to rout Red Eye, 13-1.
Marvin Palacios tripled in the bottom of the third.
After Oscar Sablan drove-in a run with a sacrifice fly, Mart Naputi and Palacios knocked-in a run-scoring single apiece in the bottom of the fourth.
Celisâ home run was followed by Byron Kaipat and Mitch Aaronâs single in the fifth, then, Wally Chong and Jeff Isaac hit an RBI single apiece.
Mal Celisâ three-run home run capped the Island Rebelsâ seven-run fifth inning and ended Red Eyeâs hope to catch up.
Go for Broke 9, Chura 8
After Churaâs rally that put them one-run behind in the top of the fourth inning, Go for Broke completed the inning with recovered lead that held up to the ball game.
With Shawn Matsutaro leading off a single, Kelvin Sanchez and Alfred Hocog hitting an RBI single apiece, Go for Broke took the lead in the bottom of the first inning.
Chura however, mounted the rally in the top of the fourth inning with Jess Iguel hitting a run-scoring single, Ben Tagabuel knocking-in a two-run single and Mel Sakisat firing an RBI double.
Go for Broke regained the lead when George Cruz drove Darryl Ngirmeror in with a double and William Hocog scored a run.
Chura needed to score two runs to win the game but only Sakisat did it with a double, coming one run shy tie the game, thus Go for Broke won, 9-8.
