Program and training officer Janeen Dorsch from the Peace Corps Micronesia/Palau main office in Pohnpei is working with program manager Regina Raigetal to conduct the training sessions which focus on volunteer progress and needs as well as host agency issues.
The training is also used to identify areas of needed improvements.
The volunteers are posted at schools in Yap proper, Woleai and Ulithi atolls. Their in-service training typically takes place 3-6 months into service.
